Eléni Pritsa was born in Komotini from teacher parents. She holds a degree in higher theoretical studies from the Municipal Conservatory of Karditsa and is a graduate in Musicology-Music Education from the School of Fine Arts, Department of Music Studies, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
From 1998 to 2004, she served as a professor of higher theoretical studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Karditsa and the director of the children’s choir.
She is a permanent music pedagogy teacher with thirty-four (34) years of service in primary education and has been the Headmistress of Elementary Schools in Karditsa for the past ten years. During her thirty-four years of educational service, she has implemented dozens of European cultural and other educational programs with her choirs and musical ensembles, receiving distinctions and awards at both the national and European levels.
She participated as a chorister in the Mixed Choir of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Mixed Choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa since 2014.
She speaks three foreign languages (English, Spanish, and French).
For the past five years, she has been a Level B trainer in Information & Communication Technologies after completing the training program for trainers at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is also a trainer at the Institute of Educational Policy in programs for new entrants to education. She is one of the founders of the Mixed Choir of Karditsa “Parenthesis,” which she co-directs with M. Zachartzis in a cooperative and innovative effort.
